We are pleased to share the January Palm Beach County Local Market Update. Single family home sales are up 14.6% from last year, while condominium and townhome sales are down by 8.1%. The median days on the market are relatively unchanged, with a difference of 3 days, 55 in 2014 to 52 in 2015 for single family homes and for condominiums 54 in 2014 to 50 in 2015. These indices reflect a stabilization in the market making it an excellent time to buy or sell in Palm Beach county and notably both for homes and condos sellers are receiving 90% and above of the average original list price received.
