Social Media is a veritable marketing force in nearly every sector of the economy. Real Estate is one discipline that has been slow to catch on. Many luxury agents can argue that you will not sell house on facebook and that buyers are not on twitter or pinterest. What this thinking fails to take into account is the importance of all marketing to run concurrently and for your sellers to see their home exposed to the best possible advantage.

Traditional real estate marketing has tenets as old as time including farmers a neighborhood, mailers, and open houses. Basically traditional marketing is networking, plain and simple. It stands to reason however that social networks are an extended version of this marketing and in fact even easier ways of communicating with proper audiences since there are metrics to see who is seeing a property and who is interested. In this way, social networking and digital marketing is almost more important if not as important as traditional marketing. Give social media a try in your marketing, you will notice it takes minimal effort and the potential rewards are worth the effort!
