Blog > Straight from the Buyers Mouths, Tips for Making the Best Impression
There are certain rules all realtors will tell you when listing your home, reduce clutter, increase curb appeal with flowers, keep the thermostat set in the low 70’s, but there are also some tips which are not very obvious that Luxury Partners would like to share. We want you to get your home sold as quickly as possible and always are available for listing your home! Good Luck and get your pencils ready!
Accuracy! Make sure the images you use to list are as accurate as possible. Square footage does not lie, however some images made to make a room appear larger than it is actually turn buyers off. If your home is staged make sure it is represented accurately.
The RIGHT Images. If you are showcasing a home with an incredible master bedroom, make sure you have images of it! People love pictures and having lots of useful pictures of the view of the pool, kitchen, whirlpool tubs, are all key ingredients to whether a buyer will request a showing.
Be Candid. If there are structural issues in a home, such as needing a new roof, or a bad foundation, apprise buyers of the situation. While you would not want to shout that your home has problems, it is something that will inevitably be discovered upon inspection, so be up front.
Out of Sight Out of Mind. The best way to allow buyers to invision themselves living in your home is to not be around, and let them look around unattended. Dogs, cats, children, your uncle sleeping, are all deterrents to showings.
